Privacy statement

This statement explains how we handle your personal data when you use this website, ask us about an event or email us. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to answer you and cook for you, and we never sell your data.

What we collect and why

• When you ask about an event through the contact form: your name, email address, the date, the number of guests, the type of event and your message. We use this to answer you and make you an offer. The legal basis is taking the steps you asked for before an agreement.
• When you book catering or an event with us: what we need to agree on and deliver it, such as your contact details, the address of the event and the menu. The legal basis is the agreement we make with you.
• When you email us: what you write and your email address, to answer you.

We do not ask for more than this, and we do not use your data for advertising. If you mention allergies or dietary needs, we use that only to prepare your food safely.

Ordering on our web shop

You order delivery on our separate web shop at pasta-fresca-013.nl, which runs on a different platform and has its own privacy statement. What you enter there, and how it is handled, follows that statement, not this one.

How long we keep it

• Event inquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to one year, so we can follow up on a question you asked.
• Bookings: as long as Dutch tax law requires us to keep business records, which is seven years.

Who else sees it

Only the two of us, and the services that run this website for us: our hosting provider (Vercel), which stores the website and the inquiry inbox and counts visits, the service that emails your inquiry to us (Resend), and our email provider. They process data on our instructions only. Some of these services are based outside the European Economic Area; where that is the case, the transfer is covered by the safeguards European law requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We share data with others only when the law obliges us to.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. To see which pages are visited, we use Vercel Web Analytics, which stores no personal data: for each page view it records the page, the website you came from, your country and the kind of device and browser, without linking any of it to you. A visit is recognised by a temporary code made from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. We also use Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free statistics tool (the connection runs through Cloudflare's network): it does not store your IP address or any personal data, and it counts page views and clicks on links and forms, never what you type. Our fonts are served by this website itself, so no third party learns that you visited.

Your rights

You may ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to limit how we use it, to object to its use, or to receive it in a form you can take elsewhere. Email info@pastafresca013.nl and we will answer within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection, the inquiry inbox is protected with a password only we have, and we keep the data no longer than stated above.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we update this page and the date at the top.
